What to do after a condom fails

PEP (Post exposure prophylaxis)

You can access PEP if you have been exposed to or put at risk of HIV following unprotected sex with someone who is HIV+.

This is a combination of drugs which may help you to fight HIV after a risky exposure. PEP must be started within 72 hours (three days). It is available through GUM clinics and Accident and Emergency Depts.
