Symptoms:

  • Often nothing, until the Chlamydia spreads.
  • Pain or stinging when pissing.
  • Discharge from penis or anus.
  • Inflamed and painful anus.
  • Sometimes affects eyes and throat.

Treatment: 2 - 3 visits to the clinic

  • Chlamydia can be successfully treated with the use of antibiotics.

Warning! Can cause swollen joints if left untreated.

Prevention:

  • Chlamydia is a germ which infects the genital area, and sometimes the eyes and throat.
  • Using condoms will reduce the risk of infection.
