Symptoms:

• Often nothing - but can be detected by a blood test.
• Sometimes flu-like symptoms.
• Tiredness.
• Jaundice - yellowish skin and eyes, and urine can be dark.

Treatment: Regular visits to the clinic

A serious liver disease, which can make you very ill. Hep B can take months to recover from and in some cases can be fatal.

Prevention:

• Hep B is the only STD that can be prevented by vaccination, which is free from any GUM clinic.
• The virus is mainly passed on through sexual contact. It is very infectious and is present in blood, shit, saliva and cum.
